In general this was a good grading. Some general observations worth mentioning were loose fists during basic techniques, not knowing where your kicking when performing basic kicks and which part of the foot is striking.
We were always taught to ask ourselves three important questions when performing any basic punch/strike/kick or block - what are you hitting (what target), what are you hitting/blocking with and how are you hitting/blocking? By being able to answer these three questions every time you punch, strike, kick or block you will certainly improve.
Senior grades required to perform ura need to be well rehearsed before attempting these higher grades. No exceptions will be made.
Until next time.
